Key Responsibilities:
- Parts Delivery: Safely and efficiently transport parts, tools, and materials from our warehouse or supplier locations to various job sites as requested.
- Inventory Coordination: Work closely with dispatchers and warehouse staff to manage parts requests, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in each delivery.
- Warehouse Support: Assist in organizing and maintaining inventory, performing light warehouse tasks such as stocking shelves, managing returns, and assisting with inventory counts.
- Communication: Keep field technicians informed on delivery times and address any issues that may arise promptly, maintaining clear communication with dispatch and management.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the assigned company vehicle, ensuring it is clean, organized, and in good working condition.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all company safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment at all times, adhering to driving and delivery protocols
- Facility Support: Light facility tasks such as trash collection and sweeping.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work in various weather conditions, and engage in physical activities such as loading and unloading materials.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and stay organized even in high-demand situations.
- Communication Skills: Good verbal communication skills with a team-oriented, customer-focused attitude.
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar role or knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, or electrical parts and materials is preferred but not required.
