Parts Runner

Position Summary: 

The Parts Runner plays a critical role in the efficiency of our operations by delivering the necessary tools, parts, and supplies to job sites, allowing our technicians to focus on delivering excellent service. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This entry-level position offers growth potential within the company, with opportunities to learn more about the HVAC, plumbing, and electrical service industry.

Key Responsibilities:  

• Parts Delivery: Safely and efficiently transport parts, tools, and materials from our warehouse or supplier locations to various job sites as requested.
• Inventory Coordination: Work closely with dispatchers and warehouse staff to manage parts requests, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in each delivery.
• Warehouse Support: Assist in organizing and maintaining inventory, performing light warehouse tasks such as stocking shelves, managing returns, and assisting with inventory counts.
• Communication: Keep field technicians informed on delivery times and address any issues that may arise promptly, maintaining clear communication with dispatch and management.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the assigned company vehicle, ensuring it is clean, organized, and in good working condition.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all company safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment at all times, adhering to driving and delivery protocols
• Facility Support: Light facility tasks such as trash collection and sweeping.
• Other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications: 

• Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work in various weather conditions, and engage in physical activities such as loading and unloading materials.
• Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and stay organized even in high-demand situations.
• Communication Skills: Good verbal communication skills with a team-oriented, customer-focused attitude.
• Experience: Previous experience in a similar role or knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, or electrical parts and materials is preferred but not required.
• Work Ethic: Reliable, punctual, and committed to supporting the team to ensure smooth operations.
