Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Help with meal preparation and cooking nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs.
- Administer medication as prescribed and monitor client health status through patient observation.
- Assist clients with mobility, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Support clients in engaging in daily activities and social interactions.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to the supervising nurse or healthcare professional.
Skills
- Proven experience in caregiving, particularly in home care or assisted living settings.
