Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing personalized recommendations and ensuring their satisfaction.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash transactions, perform cashiering duties, and maintain accurate cash handling records.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling regulations at all times.
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure compliance with alcohol service laws.
- Collaborate with team members during events like banquets or catering functions to deliver seamless service in various settings.
Skills
- Proven experience in food service, restaurant, or retail environments with a focus on hospitality excellence.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations during busy hours.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests in both fine dining and nightclub settings.
- Familiarity with food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service practices.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and managing tabs accurately.
