Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently while maintaining high quality standards.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their experience and promote beverage sales.
- Accurately process orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, handling cash and credit transactions with precision.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling protocols at all times.
- Monitor guest behavior to ensure responsible serving and compliance with alcohol laws; intervene when necessary.
- Restock bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and beverages to ensure seamless service during busy hours.
- Collaborate with team members across food service, catering, banquet events, or nightclub operations to deliver exceptional hospitality.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order entry and cash handling.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally.
- Demonstrated time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, retail math for sales transactions, and food industry calculations.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special events like banquets or catering functions.
- Experience in hospitality environments that require serving alcohol responsibly within legal guidelines is advantageous.
