TITLE: Secretary
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma.
- A minimum of three (3) years prior job experience.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board my find appropriate and acceptable.
REPORTS TO: Principal
JOB GOALS: To assure the smooth and efficient operations of the school office
so that the office’s maximum positive impact on the education of
children can be realized.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs usual office routine.
- Receives and routes all incoming calls.
- Types and processes purchase orders.
- Types correspondence, schedule appointments, and receive telephone messages.
- Maintains a regular filing system.
- Copies documents as needed.
- Performs any other duties as outlined by the Supervisor.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Salary and work year to
be established by the School Board.
EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance
with provisions of the Board’s policy on Evaluation of Professional Personnel.
