Join us in engineering tomorrow’s mobility today. The ADAS Test Specialist will work closely with engineering teams while acquiring data and providing descriptive feedback. Drive on predetermined routes to measure and record ADAS functionsAccumulate miles on test vehicles local and cross countryMaintain confidentiality about projectUnderstanding of mechanical operations of vehicles Understand system functionality to trigger measurements of system issuesProvide brief, clear verbal feedback about system issuesNotice, track, and report ongoing issuesPerform vehicle inspection and provide a testing summary dailyTroubleshoot measurement system issues with support of engineer if neededRequirements:Education and Work Experience:High School Diploma or equivalent and 5 or more years of driving experience, with above average driving skillsValid Driver’s LicenseAt least 25 years of age with a good driving record acknowledged by the CA DMVAble to perform basic supervised mechanical vehicle related tasks (wheel change, light mechanical servicing)Basic knowledge of vehicle systems and components and operating procedures to provide feedback on these while driving the vehicle.Highly desired - OEM / Tier 1 driver trainingOther Job Requirements: Safe driving in accordance with California DMV rules and regulationsCapable of quickly responding to changing driving environments and situationsMust be able to communicate effectively (written and verbal)Ability for concise and accurate report finding and documentationBasic computer skills required; some data entry and general computer knowledgeAbility to work in a team environmentPhysical DemandsPhysically fit, able to sit for a long period of time; may require some weekend drivingAbility to walk, sit, stand, use hands to grip and feelClear peripheral and distance vision, able to see clearly before and after darkMay be required to stoop, crouch, kneel, crawl and bend on occasionAble to lift no more than 25lbs. on an occasional basisEnvironmental DemandsExposed to internal and external working conditions which can include, cold, wet, warm or hot environmentsExposed to medium to moderate noisesExposed to some fumes inside and in trafficEEO-Statement: Bertrandt US is committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace.
