Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and families
- Monitor and report changes in patient conditions to licensed nurses
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adheres to HIPAA regulations
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient care and outcomes
- Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting OR clinical training preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Ability to lift, transfer, and move patients as needed
- Must be available to work 8 hour shifts, 11:00PM - 7:00AM. Weekend rotations. Holiday rotations.
