Job Summary
Bertrand Chaffee Hospital, a community-governed non-profit organization dedicated to providing essential health resources to our community, is seeking a *reliable and responsible* Dietary Aide to join our team. As a Dietary Aide, you will play an important role in ensuring the nutritional needs of our patients are met, while keeping a clean and safe kitchen for our patients and staff.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and serving of meals and snacks to patients and staff
Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, and work areas
Restock supplies and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Assist with patient meal delivery and tray collection
Collaborate with the dietary team to ensure efficient and effective meal service
Weekend and Holiday rotations are required
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
1 year of experience in food service or a related field preferred
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
