Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Lawrence, KS, for a Mobile Response Team Crisis Specialist/Case Manager. The specialist will be responsible for providing immediate crisis intervention, conducting assessments, connecting clients with appropriate resources, and developing individualized crisis plans. Day-to-day tasks will include deploying to crisis situations, collaborating with other team members and community resources, documenting case activities, and providing follow-up support to ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications
- Strong crisis intervention and de-escalation skills
- Experience in conducting assessments and developing crisis plans
- Ability to connect clients with community resources and provide ongoing support
- Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
- Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field
- Experience working with diverse populations and cultural sensitivity
- Licensed Mental Health Professional (LMHP) or similar credentials are preferred
- Flexibility to work on-site and respond to crises as they occur
