Excavator Operator

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Operator/Foreman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with septic systems, sewer and water hook ups, foundation work, and grading, also in operating heavy equipment such as backhoes, skid loaders, and other pieces of equipment as needed. If you have a passion for construction, are skilled in excavation work, and have a drive for personal excellence, we want to hear from you.

Duties:

- Operate excavators and other heavy equipment efficiently and safely
- Perform excavation tasks on construction sites
- Load correct amount of materials for jobs from shop (pipe, glue primer, fittings etc)
- Daily inventory checks on vehicle to make sure we have misc job supplies
- Able to communicate clearly with team
- Ensure equipment maintenance and cleanliness

Experience:

- Proven experience in excavator operation and heavy equipment handling
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations
- Sewer water experience preferred
- Previous work on construction sites is preferred
- Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively

Pay: $29.00 - $37.00 per hour
