Berns Landscaping Services has been creating and caring for beautiful outdoor spaces across Metro Detroit for over 40 years and were growing! Were looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Full-Charge Bookkeeper who also enjoys helping with HR and general office administration.
This is a key role working directly with our owner and virtual CFO. Youll handle bookkeeping 6070% of the time and HR/admin support the rest. If you love variety, take pride in your work, and enjoy being part of a strong, organized team wed love to talk to you!
What Youll Do
Handle daily accounting in QuickBooks Online (A/P, A/R, reconciliations, reports)
Support payroll and assist with budgets & audits
Help with HR onboarding, benefits, and employee files
Assist with office organization, vendor records, and communication
Keep things running smoothly behind the scenes
What Were Looking For
5 years of bookkeeping experience
QuickBooks Online proficiency
Great attention to detail and follow-through
Experience with HR or small business operations is a plus
Reliable, organized, and ready to jump in where needed
