Traffic Analyst Opportunity with Bernhardt Furniture: As a Traffic Analyst at Bernhardt, you will play a key role in our operations by:
- Working with domestic transportation providers daily to execute the required shipment plan.
- Updating and maintaining Transportation Reports.
- Reviewing current transport processes and when necessary, suggest process improvements.
- Resolving any arising problems or complaints
- Providing quotes and handle booking requests for all transactional customers.
- Monitoring and tracking transportation shipments from inception to final delivery.
- Maintaining relationships established with carriers to ensure capacity and monitor service standards.
- Communicating effectively with customers, carriers, and teammates.
- Using professional judgment to assess the impact of tactical decisions/actions on the customer.
- Balancing the customers’ needs with our company’s profitability.
- Developing standard operating procedures based on the direction from manager.
- Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
- Bernhardt Transportation Division
- Education: High School Diploma Minimum-Some college or a degree preferred
- Excellent Communication skills
- Ability to prioritize
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office Programs
- Proficiency in Adobe
- Understanding of Financial and Operational Process Flows
- Teamwork and participation
- Ability to delegate tasks accordingly
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to critically think independently
- 3 years in operations roll
- Process documentation experience
- Ability to prepare reporting and report to company officers
- Ability to analyze and communicate risks and errors
- Ability to recommend financial actions
- Experience in SharePoint
