Frame Builder Opportunity with Bernhardt Furniture
As a Frame Builder at Bernhardt Furniture, you will play a crucial role in our production process, constructing high-quality furniture frames, including sofas, loveseats, sleepers, and ottomans. This position requires working in a fast-paced woodshop environment, where you will ensure that each piece meets our stringent quality standards while adhering to all safety guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Frame Construction: Build furniture frames with precision and care, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Tool Operation: Proficiently operate tools such as power drills, sanders, saws, and other equipment necessary for frame building.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety rules and practices to maintain a secure work environment.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of frame-building experience.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, stoop, and bend for 8 hours or more daily, with constant use of arms, hands, fingers, and eyes. Capable of lifting up to 75 lbs. unassisted and moving products weighing 150 lbs. with assistance or team lift.
- Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to ensure every frame meets our high standards before delivery.
- Communication: Strong ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors. Proficiency in reading and comprehending English for safety and accuracy.
- Work Ethic: Dedication to quality, efficiency, and time management.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Pay $17-22 an hour depending on experience
