Responsibilities
- Assist with planting, transplanting, and harvesting crops in outdoor gardens
- Use hand tools and safely and efficiently for soil preparation, planting, and maintenance tasks
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during busy seasons
- Follow safety protocols consistently to maintain a safe working environment for all team members
Skills
- None needed, will train on the job - this is all manual labor
- Must have your own reliable transportation to and from the farm
- Strong understanding of farming principles and outdoor work environments
- Ability to identify various plants accurately and assess their health needs
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting and outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- Hands-on experience with gardening tools such as shovels, hand-held garden hoe, and watering hoses
- Excellent attention to detail combined with proactive problem-solving skills to address plant health issues promptly
