Hours: Monday - Friday 8am-7pm Saturday 8am-1pm Sunday Closed
The primary purpose of the Pharmacy Technician is to assist the Pharmacist with filling prescriptions, serving customers, and maintaining the pharmacy department. The technician is required to perform all tasks in a safe manner consistent with store policies and state and federal laws.
REQUIREMENTS:
-Pharmacy Technician Certification through Louisiana Board of Pharmacy
-Minimum age of 18 years of age
-Previous retail pharmacy technician experience preferred
-Ability to pass a drug test
-Ability to work weekends
-Ability to work day or evening hours
-Excellent customer service skills
-Accuracy and attention to detail
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Perform computer entry of prescription information including insurance billing and basic problem solving.
-Create prescription labels and fill proper medications in suitable bottles.
-Assist in inventory management such as reviewing orders, processing returns, restocking shelves, and ordering supplies.
-Assist with maintaining the pharmacy by keeping it clean and in order.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
