What You Will Do:
Support pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining inventory, and upholding accurate records for the age population served in accordance with departmental scope of service.
Fill medication orders, surgical kits, carts, requisitions, and specialty items accurately and in compliance with policy
Prepare and compound sterile and non-sterile products in accordance with USP and standards
Deliver medications and supplies promptly to appropriate patient care areas
Assist with ordering, receiving, rotating, restocking, and replacing medications and supplies
Prepackage medications for pediatric and neonatal use per policy
Accurately input medication orders, charges, and credits into the pharmacy computer system
Answer phones professionally, handle window requests, and deliver STAT medications as needed
Maintain required logs and records and ensure documentation is filed appropriately
Conduct medication storage inspections, quality monitors, and cycle counts as assigned
Complete all other assigned duties and maintain required job competencies
