Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid or remote role for a Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney at Berman Voss. The candidate will be responsible for handling legal issues involving all areas of workers' compensation law. The day-to-day tasks will include attending court hearings, depositions, mediations, as well as reviewing discovery and medical records. Based upon experience the position may include independently handling and managing a case load.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of insurance defense experience
- Ability to conduct draft legal documents and represent clients in court
- Experience with depositions
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Detail-oriented and organized
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
