Berkshire Lake Arts Camp is seeking a dependable, hardworking Line Cook to join our kitchen team immediately through August 23.
Berkshire Lake Arts Camp is an overnight arts camp for girls ages 7–15. Our kitchen team plays an essential role in making that experience possible for our campers.
This position works alongside our Head Chef to prepare and serve nutritious, high-quality meals for approximately 100 total campers and staff.
Compensation
- $1,000 per week
- Immediate start through August 23
- Housing available on-site (or commute if local)
- All meals provided while working
- One day off each week (6-day work week)
Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef with meal preparation
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen
- Wash dishes and assist with kitchen clean-up as needed
- Receive and properly store deliveries
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to keep service running smoothly
Qualifications
- Previous line cook, prep cook, or commercial kitchen experience preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen
- Reliable, positive attitude, and strong work ethic
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds
- ServSafe certification is a plus but not required
