Berkshire Humane Society’s nonprofit Wellness Clinic is growing our team and maybe you can help. We have an immediate opening for a full- or part-time Customer Service Representative to join our amazing team, working alongside others who love cats and dogs. We seek an energetic team player to help with tasks such as working with cats and dogs, talking to clients about pet care and working in a fast-paced, creative environment. Prior animal experience preferred. Below are some of the fulfilling tasks and abilities required for the position.

Tasks

• Providing great customer service
• Speaking clearly and communicating effectively
• Listening to client concerns with empathy
• De-escalating situations with distressed clients with patience and professionalism
• Handling money
• Performing basic computer skills
• Booking appointments for clients
• Confirming appointments for upcoming surgeries/appointments by phone
• Lifting up to 50 pounds

The hourly rate for this position starts at $18 and may be greater for highly qualified or experienced candidates. Workdays include Saturdays, but no Sundays or emergency after-hours.
