Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the contents restoration team to ensure efficient cleaning, packing, inventory management, and storage of damaged items
- Coordinate with project managers to prioritize restoration tasks and meet project deadlines
- Oversee the cleaning processes for various materials including textiles, furniture, electronics, and delicate items using appropriate techniques and equipment
- Manage daily operations of the contents restoration department, including scheduling staff and allocating resources effectively
- Maintain detailed documentation of all contents handled, including condition reports and inventory logs
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and industry regulations during all restoration activities
- Provide training and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills in custodial work, cleaning techniques, and customer service
Skills
- Proven supervising or management experience in cleaning or custodial services
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide teams effectively
- Extensive janitorial or hotel housekeeping management experience preferred
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning methods and equipment used in contents restoration
- Experience with laundry services related to damaged textiles or upholstery
- Excellent organizational skills for managing inventories and documentation
- Ability to communicate clearly with clients, team members, and vendors to ensure smooth operations
