Summary Of Job

As a Team Leader, you will provide general behavioral health clinical supervision in addition to being responsible for development, oversight, and community outreach for the Clinical Department.

Areas of responsibility and services may include Behavioral Health Services, such as mental health treatment, drug & alcohol treatment, treatment court, veterans' services, and Opportunity House; Child & Adolescent Services; Drug & Alcohol Services; or Intake & Admissions Services.

**You will...**

  • Serve as an active member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team.
  • Ensures effective use of integrated treatment team including Peer Support, Certified Recovery Support, Case Management, Health Coaching, Care Coordination, Counseling, Primary Care, MOUD, and Psychiatry.
  • Provides individual and group clinical and administrative supervision for the treatment team.
  • Participates in integrated care meetings and address both the physical and behavioral health needs of the population served, if applicable.
  • Responsible for assuring the organization and its activities are in full compliance with all regulatory and insurance standards.

**To qualify for the position, you will need...**

  • Master's Degree in a related social services field.
  • Internal applicants require a minimum of one (1) year in the Lead Counselor position or participation in BCC's leadership program. External candidates require at least two (2) years of experience providing and one (1) year overseeing mental health and substance abuse services.
  • This person is expected to acquire Licensure or Clinical Supervisor Certification within 2 years year of hire.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week within agency hours of operation, which are 8am-8pm Mon-Thurs, 8am-4pm Friday with Saturday hours, when applicable.

  • Be Bilingual: English/Spanish preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • VISUAL: Must be able to read and interpret documents and read and analyze data on a computer screen for prolonged periods.
  • COMMUNICATING: Must be able to communicate with clients, vendors, and coworkers.
  • MOBILITY: Must have mobility to move about the agency.
  • PHYSICAL EFFORT: Must be able to carry up to 5 pounds.
  • OTHER: Must be able to write, type and use technology.

These clearances must be valid within the 0 months prior to employment. A conviction is not a bar to employment; however, a review will be conducted to make a determination of employment should a conviction be present.
  • Receipt of original documentation and verification of relevant degrees, diplomas, certificates, or licensure.
  • Confirmation that you are not on the OIG Federal Healthcare Program Exclusion from Participation list. Should you appear on this list, Berks Counseling Center is prohibited from employing you.
