Responsibilities
Responsible for accurate and timely processing of endorsements, new business, cancellations, renewals and non-renewals at the direction of the Underwriting staff.
Specific Duties
- Prepare renewals, workbooks, and schedules and complete associated tasks
- Issue new and renewal policies and complete associated tasks
- Monitor and timely process cancellations and non-renewals
- Process endorsements
- Triage and respond to Agent Inquiries
- Process non-payment of premium related Cancellations and Reinstatements
- Discuss and resolve policy billing questions with Finance and clients
- Process Agent Changes & associated tasks
- Manage client contact database
- Review Month End Credit and Refund report
- Maintain Online Forms and update client portals
- Operate according to underwriting authority as delegated by manager
- Maintain assigned program(s) form manuals
- Maintain and update files for underwriting reviews
- May handle a book of renewal business depending upon experience
May perform other functions as assigned
- Strong service orientation and interpersonal skills
- Phenomenal attention to detail
- Excellent PC skills and a working knowledge of Excel
- Ability to prioritize work with varying deadlines
- Ability to maintain composure under tight deadlines
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to focus on independent work
- Teamwork alignment
- High School Degree or GED
- Experience in commercial lines rating and or underwriting preferred
