Position Overview:
The Student Records & System Data Specialist is responsible for managing student records, data entry, and maintaining accurate academic, attendance, and health records for all students. This role ensures compliance with state and federal regulations regarding student data.
Key Responsibilities:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate effectively; sit, stand, walk, and use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Work Environment
This position operates in a professional school environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and instructional materials. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records, including enrollment, attendance, academic progress, and health information.
- Ensure that all student records are stored securely and in compliance with privacy laws.
- Assist in preparing student reports and other documentation as required by the school and state regulations.
- Provide reports and data analysis to support school decision-making.
- Work closely with teachers and administrators to ensure the accuracy of student data.
- Manage student transfers, withdrawals, and enrollment processes.
- Support the implementation and use of the student information management system (e.g., PowerSchool).
- Assist in maintaining compliance with federal and state data reporting requirements.
- Any other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Data Management, or a related field.
- Experience with student information systems (e.g., PowerSchool).
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations regarding student data privacy and reporting.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and computer skills.

Salary : $48,470 - $56,390
