Position Summary:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) in coordination with the school's behavioral and special education teams.
- Monitor and track student behavior using data collection tools; report findings to staff and administration.
- Provide direct support to students in classroom and non-classroom settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to provide behavioral strategies and support.
- Conduct crisis intervention and assist in de-escalation when necessary.
- Lead or participate in behavior-related meetings, such as Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) or IEPs.
- Model positive behavior support strategies for staff and students. Maintain detailed and confidential documentation related to student behavior. Provide family support and training as needed to reinforce interventions at home. Any other duties as assigned.
- Associate’s degree or higher in Psychology, Education, Social Work, or a related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience working with children or youth with behavioral needs in a school or therapeutic setting.
- Strong knowledge of behavior intervention techniques and crisis management strategies.
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and support staff.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
