Curriculum Resource Teacher
Location:Berkeley Preparatory Academy

Reports To: Principal
Position Overview:
The Curriculum Resource Teacher works to support the school’s instructional programs by providing teachers with curriculum materials, strategies, and professional development. This role involves coordinating curriculum alignment and assisting teachers in enhancing their instructional practices.
Key Responsibilities:

Support teachers in the development and implementation of curriculum.

Ensure that the curriculum aligns with state standards and district requirements.

Provide professional development and instructional support to staff.

Assist teachers in adapting lessons to meet the needs of diverse learners.

Coordinate and organize curriculum-related materials and resources.

Review and evaluate the effectiveness of instructional materials.

Participate in school committees and initiatives.

Any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.

Valid South Carolina teaching certification.

Experience in curriculum development or instructional coaching.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. This position operates in a professional school environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and instructional materials.
