1.0 Experience
- Forklift experience is preferred
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred
- Minimum 3 years relevant work experience
· Ensure all work undertaken and supervised is carried out safely and without injury
· Maintain a safe and orderly warehouse
· Administrative responsibilities related to inventory management
· Oversee responsibilities and performance of the shipper/receivers
· Schedule all trucks/trailers for loading and unloading
· Source and monitor carrier performance/service/price for best value
· Develop and maintain effective relations with off-site warehousing providers and carriers
· Co-ordinate inventory between plant warehouse and off-site warehouse
· Maintain/adjust inventory in QAD for inventory movements
· Schedule all forklift repairs and services
· Cycle counting, reconciliations of inventory discrepancies
· Relieve shipper/receiver duties for vacations and absences
· Responsibility for maintaining disposal contracts
· Develop, implement and support Continuous Improvements Programs
· Initiate corrective action for non-conformances
