Position Summary
The Order Manager is responsible for overseeing the end‑to‑end order fulfillment process, ensuring customer orders are processed accurately, efficiently, and on time. This role serves as a key liaison between Sales, Operations, Finance, and Customers, while leading order management processes and supervising order entry.
Key Responsibilities
· Oversee the full order‑to‑delivery
· Ensure accurate order entry, pricing, contract terms, and customer data within ERP/CRM systems
· Monitor order status, backorders, and delivery timelines; proactively address delays or issues
· Coordinate with warehouse, production, logistics, and third‑party vendors to ensure on‑time fulfillment
· Serve as the primary escalation point for order‑related customer inquiries and issues
· Communicate order status, changes, and exceptions to customers and internal stakeholders
· Collaborate closely with Sales to support pricing, contracts, and customer expectations
· Partner with Finance on billing accuracy, credit holds, and revenue recognition issues
· Develop, document, and improve order management procedures and controls
· Identify inefficiencies and recommend system, process, or workflow improvements
Qualifications
· 3–6 years of experience in order management, customer operations, or supply chain roles
· Excellent organization, attention to detail, problem‑solving, and communication skills
· Background in manufacturing, distribution, or regulated industries
· Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, reporting)
