Location: Bergey's Truck Center-New Castle, DE
Summary:
Assists in a wide variety of repair and/or maintenance work on all types of equipment and, when assigned, performs routine manual work; does related work as required.
Essential Duties:
- General grounds maintenance and upkeep
- Daily cleaning/maintenance of office and repair facility
- Run errands for the maintenance team as needed
- Wash/clean company vehicles
- Assist maintenance technicians with repair orders as needed
- Cleans forklift and power equipment.
- Drains and disposes of used oil filters properly.
- Removes any old scrap parts from shop after checking with manager.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Education and/or Experience
- No prior experience or training
- Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
