Berger Communities is seeking a Lease-Up Community Manager to help launch Apartments at 1021, our new Class A luxury apartments in Wilmington, DE, with leasing anticipated to begin in May 2027.
Prior to the lease-up, you'll join our team and work from either our Kennett Square Apartments or Willowbrook Apartments to learn Berger's operations, culture, and resident-focused approach while helping prepare for a successful community launch.

Pay & Benefits
- $70,000-$72,000/year, plus:

What You’ll Do
You’ll be the face and force behind the day-to-day success of the community. Your leadership will drive everything from leasing results to resident satisfaction.
- Manage the overall financial performance of the property
- Set and achieve leasing and occupancy goals
- Build and lead a high-performing onsite team
- Handle budgeting, expenses, and capital planning
- Oversee the full resident lifecycle—from move-ins to renewals
- Ensure rent collection and handle legal processes as needed
- Partner with the Service Manager to maintain curb appeal and home readiness
- Stay in the know about the local market and competing properties
