About the Role:
Join BERGER BROS CAMERA EXCHANGE as a Full Charge Bookkeeper and play a crucial role in maintaining our financial health. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is excited to contribute to our dynamic team. Ideal candidate will work 2-3 days a week. 11am-6pm (Flexible Hours)
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily financial transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
- Reconcile bank & credit card statements and ensure all accounts are up to date.
- Process camera rebates and price protection claim forms.
- Process payroll via ADP and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable efficiently.
- Assist Accountant with financial reports and Sales Tax.
- Collaborate with management to improve financial processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- 3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks Desktop and ADP.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other office software.
