EMS INSTRUCTOR (Part-Time)
DISTRICT/BERGEN COUNTY
EMS TRAINING CENTER (PARAMUS)

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must possess current, valid licenses, certifications and/or accredited program completions necessary to provide effective, creditable instruction in the specific areas assigned by the Director of EMS.
• At the time of application candidate must be a riding member of a New Jersey pre-hospital care agency for five (5) consecutive years prior to applying for this position.
• Ability to interface effectively with diverse groups and adult learners.
• Evidence of successful potential, as demonstrated in classroom presentations, prior experience, references and interviews as applicable.
• Available to work a flexible schedule to accommodate day, evening and/or weekend classes.
• Effective communication and organization skills.
• New Jersey residency required within one (1) year from date of hire.

Positions are part-time, maximum of twenty-four (24) hours per week.
Compensation Rate/Range: $36.13 per hour
