Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Vape Shop Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a strong understanding of vape products. This role involves engaging with customers, providing product demonstrations, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. The Sales Associate will also be responsible for maintaining the store's merchandising standards and assisting with inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers and addressing their needs
• Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about various vape products
• Utilize POS systems for transactions, ensuring accurate cash handling and cashiering
• Assist in stocking shelves and maintaining an organized sales floor
• Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer purchases
• Supervise junior staff members as needed, providing guidance and support
• Maintain effective phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries
• Implement retail math skills for inventory management and sales tracking
• Ensure compliance with all store policies and procedures

Experience

• Previous experience in retail sales or a similar customer-facing role is preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is essential
• Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership capabilities
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to assist diverse clientele
• Strong communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with customers
• Knowledge of merchandising techniques and retail math will be beneficial
• Experience in product demos or sales within the vape or grocery store industry is advantageous
