Job Title: Engineering Skilled Trade Expert 2

Role Overview
BEPC Inc. is seeking an experienced Engineering Skilled Trade Expert 2 to support a client in St. Louis, MO. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of construction processes, materials, and workmanship across project sites. You will play a critical role in maintaining adherence to project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements while collaborating with contractors and project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and safety regulations
- Inspect and evaluate materials and workmanship to ensure quality standards are met
- Review and approve contractor and subcontractor work for adherence to quality requirements
- Identify and document non-conformance issues and support corrective actions
- Interpret and work from engineering drawings, specifications, and models
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure alignment with quality management systems
- Support audits and ensure compliance with relevant standards such as ISO 9001
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting related to quality control processes
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial or Mechanical preferred), Construction Management, or related field
- 10 years of experience in construction quality assurance/quality control
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards
- Familiarity with construction quality management systems and certifications (e.g., ISO 9001)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and models
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Preferred:
- Professional certifications such as Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Quality Management Professional (QMP)
- Experience supporting Life Sciences, GMP, or cleanroom construction projects

- Location: On-site in St. Louis, MO
- Schedule: Standard business hours (as defined by client)
