BEPC is actively looking for Strategic Sourcing Spec. II in Phoenix, AZ area!
W2 Contract – 5 months with possible extensions!
Pay Rate: $35.00 - $42.00 /hour - Determined based on experience (Paid weekly)
Work Model: Hybrid – Day Shift (3 days onsite / 2 days remote per week based on business need)
Note: This is a W2 only role — C2C, C2H will not be considered
BEPC is seeking a highly motivated Sourcing Specialist to join our client’s site in Phoenix, AZ. This role will support executing sourcing strategies, maintaining supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance across contract management systems.
This position is part of a high-performing team focused on driving KPIs, supporting the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), and collaborating with global stakeholders to align with strategic sourcing goals.

- Can you describe a time when you led a supplier negotiation that resulted in cost savings or improved contract terms? What was your approach and the outcome?
- Tell me about your experience working with SAP or other ERP systems. How have you used these tools to manage sourcing or procurement activities?
- How do you ensure compliance and accuracy when preparing sourcing documentation, such as NDAs, contract amendments, or supplier scorecards?
Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
Commodity Management & Contract Execution
- Lead commodity negotiations and supplier relationship management
- Draft and manage NDAs, Unilateral Letters, Novations, Assignments, and Assumptions with Legal and Contracts teams
- Review contract amendments for accuracy and compliance prior to signature
Compliance & Documentation
- Prepare and submit compliance packages, including:
- Extended Terms Requests (ETRs)
- Supplier scorecards and FAIRS data
- SAP updates (MOQ, pricing, contract validation, VMI)
- Fair and Reasonable Price Justifications (FRPJ)
RFQ & Master Data Management
- Manage RFQ packages, including drawing retrieval and distribution
- Process vendor and material master changes
- Validate part demand and historical receipts
System & Process Support
- Upload and maintain documents in contract management tools
- Initiate Should Cost Estimates (SCE) and pull platform details
- Resolve PO and supplier portal issues and submit corrections
- Support and analyze CID and BAA content for sourcing insights.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in Sourcing, Procurement, or Contract Management
- Strong business acumen
- Experience with SAP or other ERP systems
- Familiarity with eSourcing platforms and Microsoft Office tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean methodologies, and project management principles
- Professional certifications in Supply Chain, Procurement, or Contract Management.
