Role Overview
BEPC is seeking a highly driven Quality Assurance Engineer to join our client’s aerospace quality organization. In this role, you will lead continuous improvement initiatives, manage corrective and preventive action processes, support internal and external audits, and ensure full compliance with aerospace regulatory and customer standards.
You will collaborate cross-functionally with leadership, customers, and suppliers while supporting site-wide quality initiatives and driving a culture of operational excellence.
6-month contract
Pay-$35-$40
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze production and quality data to identify trends and recommend corrective/preventive actions.
- Compile, present, and maintain overhaul scorecards and key performance metrics for senior leadership.
- Partner closely with the Site Quality Leader; provide leadership for QAE and Inspection teams as needed.
- Develop, implement, and revise technical quality assurance protocols and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with Honeywell quality standards, government regulations, and customer requirements.
- Conduct internal audits; support external audits for ISO9001, AS9100, and AS13000.
- Lead and facilitate multi-disciplinary RCCA initiatives using 8D/CAPA methodologies.
- Interpret and apply Repair & Overhaul manuals, engineering drawings, and GD&T principles.
- Create, update, and maintain SAP inspection plans.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field.
- 2 years of experience in Repair & Overhaul (R&O) or OEM manufacturing.
- 2 years of auditing experience with ISO9001 and AS9100D.
- 1 year of experience with ERP/SAP.
- 1 year of experience leading RCCA/CAPA/8D problem-solving processes.
- Must be a U.S. Person due to contractual requirements.
Preferred
- Aerospace Quality Engineering experience.
- Familiarity with Tableau, SAP analytics, and trend analysis tools.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills (pivot tables, formulas, reporting).
- Experience with Net-Inspect, Teamcenter, HASP, and SPOC.
- Lean Six Sigma certification.
- Strong written, verbal, and leadership communication skill
