Contract: W2 Length (4-months, Onsite with a possibility of extension

Pay rate: $30 - $32.24/hr (based on experience)
Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM ** Chance to change to Hybrid Role (3 days OFC/ 2 days WFH) after 90-day review
Note: This is a W2 only role — C2C, C2H will not be considered
Position Overview
Responsible for purchasing and negotiating materials, equipment, and supplies from vendors. This role evaluates vendor quotes and services to determine the most desirable suppliers.
Works under immediate supervision and follows established guidelines. This is an entry/junior-level role focused on executing procurement processes within a structured environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Purchase materials, equipment, and supplies from vendors
· Evaluate vendor quotes and services to select optimal suppliers
· Support procurement and purchasing operations following established processes
· Assist with supplier communication and relationship management
· Support cost control initiatives and buying strategies
· Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation
Required Qualifications (Top Must-Have Skills)
· 3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or buying
· Strong negotiation and contract management skills
· Knowledge of:
o Buying strategies
o Supplier relationship management
o Cost control practices
· Proficiency in procurement tools and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
· Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
· SAP experience
· Planning experience
· Aerospace industry background
· Just-In-Time (JIT) experience
· Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
· Strong analytical and attention-to-detail skills
· Commitment to continuous learning and development
Additional Role Details
· May require a Bachelor’s degree and 0–2 years of experience (per classification guidelines)
· Familiarity with standard procurement concepts, practices, and procedures
· Works under supervision with limited independent decision-making
· Typically reports to a supervisor or manager
· Must be within reasonable commuting distance (no relocation considered)
· Ensure alignment with required procurement experience (3 years preferred vs. baseline description)
