Location: Bentonville, AR 72712 (Hybrid)

Employment Type: W2 Contract – 6 Month with possibility for extensions

Pay Rate: $35.00 – $39.62/hour (determined by experience, paid weekly)

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Work Model: Hybrid

• Monday & Friday: Remote
• Tuesday – Thursday: Onsite

Role Overview:

BEPC is seeking an experienced BAS Project Manager to support Building Automation System (BAS) installation projects in Bentonville, AR. This role is responsible for managing project execution from kickoff through commissioning and closeout while ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with customer and quality expectations.

The ideal candidate will have strong project management experience supporting BAS, controls, HVAC, or building systems projects, along with proven expertise in budget management, customer communication, and coordination of field installation teams and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage internal and external resources to ensure project teams have the required skills and support to complete BAS installation projects successfully
• Establish and manage project critical paths and timelines to ensure all phases align with project schedules
• Develop, monitor, and manage project budgets throughout all project phases
• Support project teams in troubleshooting and resolving unforeseen technical and operational issues

Communicate project status updates, risks, and delivery impacts to:

• Stakeholders
• Customers
• Team members
• Leadership teams
• Manage customer expectations and proactively address project gaps or concerns

Own and manage all project change requests, including:

• Scope changes
• Budget impacts
• Approval processes
• Ensure adherence to customer-defined standards, procedures, and quality expectations
• Prioritize project issues for resolution, escalation, or follow-up

Coordinate on-site system checkout and commissioning activities with:

• Programmers
• Field technicians
• Subcontractors
• Order and manage project Bill of Materials (BOM) as required
• Create and maintain project schedules, milestones, and status tracking documentation

Ensure timely completion of:

• Project closeout documentation
• System software delivery
• Financial milestone approvals
• Deliver exceptional customer service and project execution quality

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in:
• Engineering
• Construction Management
• Business
• Related field
• OR equivalent industry experience
• Experience managing:
• Building Automation System (BAS) projects
• Controls system installations
• HVAC or facility systems projects

Strong experience with:

• Budget management
• Change management
• Project scheduling
• Customer communication

Experience coordinating:

• Field installation teams
• Programmers
• Subcontractors
• Commissioning activities
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
