Blacksmith Automotive Management is seeking an Accounts Payable Analyst to join our team.
As an Accounts Payable Analyst at Blacksmith Automotive Management, you will support all aspects of accounts payable processing for all three dealerships, and become a valued contact for our vendors, management team, and employees.
This position works in the office at our primary location in Englewood, NJ.
Core Responsibilities:
- Review and process a high volume of vendor invoices and payments for multiple locations.
- Perform day-to-day processing of accounts payable transactions to ensure finances are up-to-date and accurate.
- Disburse on demand checks as requested, as well as make monthly vendor payments via company laser checks and ACH debit payments.
- Review, reconcile and pay credit card statements.
- Research and respond to vendor and internal inquiries.
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies.
- Perform statement reconciliations.
- Assist in month end and year end closings.
- Daily interaction and communication with the accounting department and other respective department members.
Desired Characteristics:
- Ability to balance accuracy and efficiency with a sense for urgency.
- Organized with attention to detail.
- Technically knowledgeable and analytical.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate on a team.
Desired Experience:
- 1 to 5 years of experience in accounts payable.
- Associates Degree or higher is strongly recommended.
- Experience with spreadsheets and account reconciliation.
- Extensive working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Knowledge of CDK Global Software is beneficial.

Compensation
- $60,000 to $65,000 per year depending on experience
