The purpose of the Parole and Probation Deputy is to supervise adult justice-involved individuals in the community to maintain a high standard of public safety. Parole and Probation Deputies provide opportunities and means for rehabilitation in order to prevent future recidivism. In addition, deputies address non-compliance through a graduated sanction process moving from least restrictive to most restrictive, depending on JII’s level of risk to the community.
