QUALIFICATIONS:
Certificate, Endorsement, or other legal credential required.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Cooperate with the athletic director, and the principal in performing the duties related to the school athletic program.
2. Ensure that participating students understand rules and policies.
3. Conduct the program of the particular activity and total activity/athletic program of the school district.
4. Attend all practices beginning the first day to the end of the season along with being available for all staff meetings.
5. Assume responsibility for maintenance of facilities and personnel.
6. Assume responsibility for student participants until all participants are dressed and/or have left the building. Secure all gates, dressing rooms, locker and gymnasium facilities before leaving the area.
7. Enforce discipline and sportsmanlike behavior at all times and assist in establishing/overseeing penalties for breach of such standards by individual participants.
8. Report all injuries, misconduct, or other unusual situations to the athletic director, or principal.
9. Checking in and inventorying all equipment at the end of the season.
10. Perform other job related duties as assigned.
