Bilingual Immigration Legal Assistant / Case Worker

Our immigration law firm is growing quickly, and we're looking for a bilingual legal assistant/case worker to join our team and help us serve our clients well. You'll work primarily on preparing submissions for USCIS across a broad range of case types — this is a great role for someone who wants meaningful, high-impact work and thrives in a busy, fast-paced office.
Job Description:
- Prepare and process USCIS filings across case types including DACA, VAWA, U Visas, and Adjustment of Status, etc.
- Conduct in-person and virtual client interviews
- Manage a multi-line phone system — screening, answering, and routing calls
- Communicate clearly and accurately with clients in person, by phone, and by email
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence
- Maintain an organized and up-to-date case filing system
Job Requirements:
- Fluent, professional-level Spanish and English (written and verbal) — required, and will be assessed during the interview
- 2–4 years of experience as an immigration paralegal or legal assistant, ideally at a nonprofit, immigration firm, or public interest law firm
- Solid working knowledge of immigration processes and multiple case types
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and multitask in a high-volume environment
- A proactive, resourceful approach to problem-solving
- Comfort with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Gmail/Google Calendar, and standard office equipment
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- A genuine passion for immigration legal work and a friendly, service-oriented attitude

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 am–5:00 pm (40 hours/week, 8-hour shifts)
