Experienced Bankruptcy Paralegal
Location: Midvale, Utah
Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
We're a well-established, small Utah law firm looking for an experienced bankruptcy paralegal or legal assistant to join our team.
Our practice focuses primarily on consumer bankruptcy (Chapters 7, 11, and 13), and we also maintain a criminal defense practice. While bankruptcy experience is important, no criminal defense experience is required. If you're interested, we'll train you in that area as well.
We're looking for someone who can be compassionate and enjoys helping people through difficult situations, takes pride in doing excellent work, and wants to become a valued member of a close-knit team.

Responsibilities
- Prepare bankruptcy petitions, schedules, statements, and Chapter 13 plans
- Draft motions and other legal pleadings
- Electronically file documents through CM/ECF
- Communicate with clients, trustees, creditors, and the court
- Manage cases from intake through completion
- Assist with criminal defense matters as training is provided
Qualifications
- Prior bankruptcy paralegal experience preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines independently
- Compassionate, professional, and dependable
- Experience with bankruptcy software and Microsoft Office
- Able to maintain an accurate calendar of events and deadlines
