Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
- Inspect completed assemblies for nonconformances as defined in SWI
- Respond to lineside calls for quality support; disposition suspect assemblies that are in-process
- Evaluate and disposition individual components for non-conformities
- Execute required quality audits including, but not limited to:
- Static torque verification
- Poka-yoke verification
- Traceability audits
- Quality Alert audits
- Support out-of-process re-work activities
- Train new operators and inspectors on quality requirements and standards
- Participate in Root Cause and Corrective Action activities
- High School diploma or GED
- Two years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong oral and written communication
- Excellent computer skills
- A bility to multi-task, prioritize work requirements, and remain attentive to detail
- Ability to operate measuring devices.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time without sitting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, or crawling.
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
