POSITION OVERVIEW
Benson Stone Company is seeking an experienced Home Design Consultant & Sales Specialist to serve customers in our flooring and granite & quartz countertop departments. The ideal candidate will have exceptional customer skills and a strong background in sales and home design.
This is an inside sales position, and our store attracts a large volume of shoppers, so it's easy for friendly and motivated salespeople to excel here. This is a full-time position with full benefits, and the pay structure includes a base salary and uncapped commissions. Saturdays are required, but the store is closed in the evenings, on Sundays, and on most major holidays.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Guide clients through our extensive selection of premium flooring and countertops to find the perfect fit for their aesthetic and budget.
- Manage the sales process from the initial "hello" to the final installation, ensuring a seamless experience.
- Collaborate with our in-house estimators to create precise, professional project proposals.
- Meet targets and take advantage of our uncapped commission structure.
- Provide above-and-beyond customer service and follow-through on every project through completion.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Outgoing, self-motivated, and enthusiastic personality
- Proven sales experience
- Excellent customer service & communication skills
- Ability to confidently close sales and meet sales goals
- Strong organization & multitasking skills to manage multiple projects at once
- Basic computer skills and general math skills
- Experience with point of sale systems
