What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Attendant position at BENSENVILLE PARK DISTRICT?
Responsible for assisting in the day to day operations of the DGLC front desk operations.
DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Handles registration for activities, passes, daily visits and facility use.
- Answer phones and customer inquiries about programs and facilities.
- In addition to registration, creates class rosters and assists program supervisors with registrant and class information.
- Provides support for administrative staff as a secondary function.
- Maintains a cash bank, takes cash, check and credit card payments and makes deposits on a daily basis.
- Re-stocks forms and flyers and creates a presentable area in customer service
- Makes frequent runs throughout the facility, opening and closing rooms and facilitating rental, program and fitness center use during shift.
- Take drop-off registrations and handle all customer questions about registration and programs.
- Responsible for opening and closing down the facility, making sure the building is secure.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
- 17 years of age or older
- Certified in CPR/AED & First Aid or ability to receive within 3 months (Classes are offered at the Bensenville Park District)
- Customer service and phone experience preferred
- Ability to multi-task
- Computer/RecTrac experience preferred

HOURS Varies per week including evenings and weekends
