Currier Memorial School is seeking a compassionate, knowledgeable and proactive Limited Term School Nurse to serve students in grades PK-5 for the 2025/2026 school year. As the primary health-services professional on site, the Limited Term School Nurse plays a critical role in fostering a safe, healthy, and supportive learning environment by addressing students physical, emotional, behavioral, and mental health needs. Drawing on clinical expertise, ethical practice, and collaborative problem-solving, the Limited Term School Nurse ensures that students are healthy, safe, and ready to learn. Beyond providing direct care, this position involves coordination with families, school teams, and community partners to reduce health-related barriers to learning and promote overall student well-being.The Limited Term School Nurse will exercise independent clinical judgment while collaborating with educational teams to effectively align students health needs with their academic goals. Core responsibilities include managing chronic health conditions, responding to emergencies, administering medication, conducting mandated health screenings, preventing communicable diseases, and participating in student educational planning. This position leads in the delivery of care and fosters the development of health and wellness knowledge and skills across the school community and curriculum. The Limited Term School Nurse is grounded in a broad knowledge base encompassing pediatric, community health, emergency, adult, and mental health nursing practices. - $45,500 to $85,800, based on education level and years of experience; prorated in accordance with FTE.
