Job Summary: The 3PL Transportation Logistics Sr Director of Sunbelt Managed Logistics is a senior executive responsible for leading and overseeing the entire Sunbelt 3PL transportation logistics division of the organization. This role involves strategic planning, leadership, and execution of all transportation activities, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and high-quality service delivery. The Sr Director will drive innovation, continuous improvement, and strategic partnerships to enhance the company’s transportation logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership and Planning:
- Develop and execute the strategic vision for the transportation logistics division, aligning with the company's overall goals and objectives.
- Formulate long-term plans to enhance transportation logistics capabilities and market position.
- Operational Oversight:
- Provide executive oversight of daily transportation logistics operations, ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and compliant processes.
- Lead the optimization of inbound and outbound transportation activities to improve service levels and reduce costs.
- Executive Management:
- Collaborate with senior management to integrate transportation logistics strategies with overall business strategies.
