What are the responsibilities and job description for the Division Controller position at BENNETT MOTOR EXPRESS?
Job Summary:
Responsible for managing the general accounting functions of the assigned division within Bennett.
Job Duties:
- Prepare monthly profit and loss statements for division; work with operations to ensure completeness and accuracy of statements
- Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations
- Work closely with operations team for forecast and budget preparations
- Assist VP of Finance and CFO as needed
- Complete miscellaneous schedules for annual financial audit and biannual bank audits
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors degree or higher in accounting
- Accounting experience
- Extensive Excel experience
- Experience with Oracle is a plus
