Bennett Hardwoods is seeking a dependable, hardworking Skilled General Laborer to join our lumber manufacturing team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, operating equipment, and being part of a team that produces high-quality hardwood products.
What You'll Do
● Operate a variety of woodworking and production equipment safely and efficiently.
● Assist with lumber processing, sorting, stacking, and material handling.
● Load and unload lumber, supplies, and finished products.
● Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (training/certification provided if
needed).
● Perform routine equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance.
● Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
● Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
● Assist with other production and warehouse duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
● Previous manufacturing, sawmill, woodworking, construction, or industrial experience
preferred.
● Mechanical aptitude and ability to safely operate equipment.
● Forklift experience is a plus.
● Strong work ethic with excellent attendance and reliability.
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
● Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
● Comfortable working in a physically active manufacturing environment.
