THE ROLE
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Landscape Designer/Architect located in Austin, TX. The Landscape Designer/Architect will be responsible for design, construction documentation, and project management
The role includes collaborating with clients and other consultants to ensure projects are completed accurately and on time and within budget.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
•Degree in Landscape Architecture -BS, BLA or ML (MANDANTORY REQUIREMENT)
•1-5 years of in office experience
- Experience in developing hardscape and planting Plans
- Strong knowledge of Landscape Architecture practices (grading and drainage design, planting design, ADA, FHA, TDLR, and familiarity interpreting city codes).
- Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools
- Excellent graphic, written and oral communication skills
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a small office environment
- Ability to listen and follow directions
- Desire to learn from seasoned professionals including direct involvement with principal level staff
- Desire to have involvement in business of Landscape Architecture including writing proposals, establishing fees, billing, client relations etc.
